Jewelry Care
DiDA Jewelry is handcrafted with love and passion. We want you to own pieces of jewelry to accompany with you and witness your life stories. However, jewelry oxidize naturally over time. Air, water and the natural oil produced by our bodies can all cause oxidization. To delay oxidation that takes place, keep your pieces away from moisture, shower steam, and other water activities. And when you’re not wearing your jewelry, store them in a ziplock bag. Sterling silver does not harm the body and you can wear it trustingly if you have sensitive ears.
Here are some effective tips for you to clean and maintain your DiDA Jewelry at-home:
- Toothpaste contains abrasive particles that can polish off tarnish and clean the silver. Mix water and plain white toothpaste to bubble it and rub against your silver. It is a good choice for your textured jewelry.
- However, if your silver piece has a large amount of flat and high polish finish, you can try to mix baking soda and lemon juice by a ratio of 1:4. Rub the sterling silver with the paste and cotton cloth. Finally, rinse the piece with clean water and gently dry it with a clean soft cloth.
- Voila! Your DiDA is shiny again!
