Sterling Silver Jewelry Care
DiDA Jewelry is handcrafted with love and passion. We want you to own jewelry that accompanies you and witnesses your life stories. Since most of DiDA jewelry is made of solid sterling silver, it can naturally oxidize over time. Air, water, and the natural oils produced by our bodies can all cause oxidation. To delay this process, keep your pieces away from moisture, shower steam, and other water exposure. When not wearing your jewelry, store it in a ziplock bag. Sterling silver is safe for the body, making it a trustworthy option for those with sensitive ears.
Here are some effective tips for you to clean and maintain your DiDA Jewelry at-home:
- Toothpaste contains abrasive particles that can polish off tarnish and clean the silver. Mix water and plain white toothpaste to bubble it and rub against your silver. It is a good choice for your textured jewelry.
- However, if your silver piece has a large amount of flat and high polish finish, you can try to mix baking soda and lemon juice by a ratio of 1:4. Rub the sterling silver with the paste and cotton cloth. Finally, rinse the piece with clean water and gently dry it with a clean soft cloth.
- Voila! Your DiDA is shiny again!
